Mike Prudencio - Head Black Belt
Mike Prudencio - Head Coach . Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. Mike started training with Ralph and Cesar Gracie. He went through the ranks with Ralph through brown belt before achieving his black belt from Dave Camarillo in October 2007 and his 3rd degree black belt in December 2017.
Keith “Fook” Fukumae
Keith “Fook” Fukumae – Advanced Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Fook started training Jiu-Jitsu at One World in 2008. In 2014 he received his black belt from Mike Prudencio. Fook teaches the adult class at One World Jiu Jitsu Headquarters in Newark at 6:30PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. Additionally, he usually organizes the Sunday open mat at 6PM.
Judo Black Belt – Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Jake’s grappling background traces back to his roots in Hawaii where at the tender age of 17 he undertook Judo. Being a black belt at Pearl City High under Roy Kawaji. Jake went on to the world-renowned San Jose State University’s Judo program. It was while going to SJSU that Jake’s journey into Jiu Jitsu began. He went to the original American Kickboxing Academy (on Camden). Jake received his Jiu-Jitsu black belt from Mike Prudencio in 2014. Jake is renowned for his heart and is one of One World Jiu Jitsu’s fiercest competitors.
Clinton Cronin – Adults Jiu-Jitsu. Clint has been with AKA Sunnyvale since the day it opened in 2006. He was promoted to black belt by Mike Prudencio in July 2016. He has experience in Wrestling and Judo before getting his start in Jiu Jitsu formally in 2005. He has spent a considerable amount of time training in other countries and has spent time in London, Singapore and fondly calls Brazil a second home.
Eric Stang – Adults Jiu-Jitsu and Fundamentals. Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, Eric started training out of AKA Sunnyvale under Alex Khanbabian and Bobby Southworth in 2009. Eric now teaches almost daily, leading the 6:30AM classes Monday – Friday at One World Jiu-Jitsu, and is also available for private lessons. He is known for his intricate technical breakdowns and unique style. Eric is a great instructor for all skill levels. Eric has worked as a professional body guard and a Salsa dance instructor.
Kyle Lehane – Kids Jiu-Jitsu. Kyle began his Jiu-Jitsu journey at One World Jiu Jitsu in Newark in 2008 at the age of 15. He received his black belt from Mike Prudencio in 2014.
Katrina Stadler - Kids Jiu Jitsu. Jiu Jitsu Blue belt. Katrina started training in the kids’ MMA program at AKA Sunnyvale in 2010 at the age of 7. Katrina has competed in many Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and kickboxing tournaments. She is currently 2-0 as an amateur MMA fighter.
